A Comparison of Vietnamese and American Writing

As an international student from VietNam. I can see some differences between Vietnamese and American writing. In order to demonstrate my opinion, i would like to give a brief introduction about it.
I have some similarities between 2 countries. In Viet Nam, writing isn't an important subject. Students develop their writing skills through the study of literature. The teacher begins by asking the student to write simple and short paragraphs about what happens in his/her daily life. Popular writing topics include “the person you love best,” “pets,” and so on. When grading, the teacher pays attention to spelling, clarity, and the way students use words. In secondary school, a student begins to write longer and more difficult essays, including plot summaries, movie reviews, character- and other kinds of literary analysis.
In United States, when you write a paragraph, you need make outlines, brain-storms, gathered infomation from internet reseachs in order to support all about your topic sentence. Besides that, you need to double space and leave some room at the end  so that teacher can make corrections.
In general, there are not lots of similarities about each writing style. By writing any kinds of eassays or paragraphs, we need to write almost the same system that both countries have.
